Mark E. Floyd

Mark joined Riley, Hewitt, Witte & Romano, P.C. as an associate in 2011.  His practice is centered primarily in civil litigation, focusing on insurance defense in the area of toxic torts and workers compensation defense. Mark is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.

 

Mark began his Ohio practice as an attorney for the law firm of Gammell, Hoshor, Kendo & Ross, LLP, a civil litigation firm in Dayton, Ohio.  Mark’s diverse practice focused on the areas of debt collection, personal injury and mortgage foreclosure, as well as civil litigation focusing on real estate disputes.  During this time, Mark handled all aspects of client matters, including attending hearings in a variety of courts in and around Montgomery County, Ohio.

 

Mark left Ohio in 2008 and proudly relocated to Pennsylvania to be closer to his family.  Mark and his wife, Jennifer, live in the Mt. Lebanon area of Pittsburgh where they enjoy spending time with their rescued dogs and cats, growing and competitively showing dahlias, creative cooking and baking, and rock climbing. 

 

Mark graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana where he majored in Classical Studies and minored in Chemistry.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from the University of Dayton School of Law.  While completing his studies, Mark was a research assistant to a prominent employment law professor where he cooperated in preparing an article regarding employer misrepresentations in hiring practices.
